EDUCATION
Steven Hector Gonzalez is a Dallas, Texas-based interdisciplinary artist whose practice primarily consists of video, printed matter, and performance.
Steven’s work engages ideas surrounding the queer body, machismo/masculinity, and popular culture. He holds an MFA degree in Studio Arts from Southern Methodist University (SMU), and graduated with a BFA in Video and Sound Art from the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA). His work has been exhibited nationally as well as internationally in group exhibitions such as April Meetings, Belgrade; Video! Video! Zine Video Festival, Chicago; Pure Surface, Portland; and CARNALISMX COLLECTIVE, San Antonio.
