Kamila Strzeszewska

I am a Polish born artist living and working in the UK, creating expressive, symbolic works that explore the psychological and emotional landscapes of contemporary life. My practice often moves between realism, expressionism, and elements of the grotesque, combining traditional techniques with experimental mark making to convey layered narratives.

Drawing from personal experience, literature, and social observation, I use the human figure often in interaction with animal forms as a metaphor for inner conflict, transformation, and the dualities we all carry. My work seeks to evoke rather than explain, inviting viewers into an atmosphere where discomfort, beauty, and absurdity coexist.

I am a 2016 graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, holding a Master’s degree in Art. I specialize in oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting.
