Alvaro is proud to be married to Jennifer Cawley, an extremely gifted and talented artist and a fantastic mother to our two beautiful kids. Through the layering of color, iconic images, word play and titles in a pop art style, I play with the mixed messages constantly invading our space; our thoughts; and our serenity. Sometimes my paintings reflect my concerns; sometimes they're just fun and sometimes I mix the two. As a recently dedicated self-taught artist, my work has just begun! I am a self-taught artist who has shown in cities across the country - who grew up in Los Angeles and who currently lives in Atlanta.

officially an untrained/self-taught professional artist
