Jamie Bradbury (b. 1981, Toronto) is a Jamaican-Newfoundland multi-disciplinary artist working between Corner Brook and Burgeo. With degrees from OCAD University, Central Saint Martins, and Memorial University, Bradbury’s practice spans visual art, sound, and research- creation. His work blends autobiographical and collective histories, exploring how land, sea, and displacement shape the meaning of home. Using both personal and found materials, he examines identity as something both rooted and shifting. Bradbury’s art has been exhibited across North America and Europe, including at the International Art Fair Venice, Arte Fiera Bologna, Santorini Biennale, and Art Toronto. His work is held in collections such as the Portrait Gallery of Canada, Debbie Moore O.B.E., and ALDO. He was first nationally recognised on Star Portraits for painting Debbie Travis. He is the recent recipient of a Sound and Movement grant from the Canada Council for the Arts and a travel grant from ArtsNL. In 2025, he presented a solo exhibition at the CICA Museum in South Korea.
