Sungsil yun is the granddaughter of Im Kyung-Soo (임경수), known as the last royal court painter of the Joseon Dynasty. Continuing the legacy of her family’s artistic heritage, she draws inspiration from Korea’s rich traditions and cultural history.
Her mother, an accomplished artist in her own right, was selected for the prestigious Gyeonggi Art Exhibition in 1991.
Bridging the past and the present, [Your Name] creates works that honor the techniques and aesthetics of traditional Korean art while bringing them into dialogue with contemporary sensibilities. Each piece is not only a work of art but also a living thread in a multi-generational story of creativity and devotion to beauty.
