Stuart Mcmorris

Stuart McMorris a designer living in Edinburgh. He created Surface Halftone as an outlet and playground for design exploration away from the digital design and marketing he was doing 9 - 5.

With a background in textile design, he is fascinated by graphic design, typography and surface patterns.

Recent work incorporates simple geometrics loosely based on landscapes using Google Maps to help build the visual story. Simple repeats, bright colour palettes and stripes make up the core building blocks. He has had a number of commissions from the UK and Australia to date.
