Painting abstract is my journey of self-exploration into a world where freedom of expression has no boundaries. My guide is the pursuit of peace, happiness, curiosity, discovery and surprise and as a self-taught intuitive painter, color choices and composition are organic results of moods and emotions.

I draw on inspiration from the places I've lived. In Denmark, I have vivid memories of riding our horses through light green forests and in Spain, my father and I would ride along rivers in the back country of Andalucia eating figs off trees. I've lived in northern Greenland, island hopped the Greek islands, lived in Southern California and now Sarasota, FL. I see beauty everywhere and love color! Painting is my natural sanctuary where emotions and creativity can passionately dance!

My materials of choice are acrylic paint and mediums that change the consistency and texture of the paint. I paint on high quality stretched cotton gallery wrapped canvas or heavy mixed media paper.
