Sushil Thapa

I'm self taught. Most of my works have been printed and published by different national and international print media that includes publications of UN and other international organisations as well. Also, a drawing for the cover page of a manual of UNHCR ( The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) at Istanbul conference, drawings for The Lancet, an American medical journal, and two different water color paintings for the cover boxes of two different parts of award winning videos entitled From Terror to Healing part I, II produced by Centre for Victims of Torture, Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA, supposed to be mentioned here. I did several of artworks on contract with the organisations like UNICEF and Save the Children also. It was the time to raise human rights issues and to be a part of campaign against Organized Violence, Torture, and other Human Rights Violations through my artworks. Participated in Art Competition organized by UN Human Rights Section to observe UN International Day in support of Victims of Torture on 26th June 1996 in Geneva and they displayed all my artworks.
