My current work is driven by my interest in the restorative power of beauty and how it is perceived. I am asking the question: Does the world embody beautiful ideas? What is symmetry, what is the memory of a beautiful feeling, how does that relate to mortality and anxiety? My work is by no means an answer but an exploration of the questions. within my compositions you will find a variety of abstracted natural elements because we contain horizons, storms, gardens, vacant buildings, flowers, animals and faces and new beginnings within us. When we honour them we can come into rhythm in our own lives.
Nature is my cathedral, it is where I find inspiration.
