Taina Bystrova

Taina (Tatiana Bystrova, b. 1998, Russia) is a figurative oil painter based in Serbia. She holds a degree in Pediatrics.
Her current series, The Last Song, began with a real recording. In 1987, the last male Mōhō of Hawaii was recorded singing. No answer came. The species was gone. That silence became the starting point: not the moment of loss itself, but what lives inside it – the weight of disappearance, the trace of memory, the stillness that remains.
Taina works in series. Each painting develops the language of the previous one without repeating it.
