Born in Sayedpur town in the northern part of the country, I am a Bangladeshi artist and my name is Talha Bin Shams. I graduated in Fine Arts and majored in painting and graphic design from UODA in Bangladesh. Then I pursued my first postgraduate study in 'social science' at the University of Dhaka. I have been living in Poland for two years now and i Just graduated with my second post-graduation degree in ‘Intercultural Communications’ at the University of Maria Curie Sklodowska in Lublin, Poland. I work with painting, graphics, illustration and, designing clothes. I have presented Bangladeshi folk culture and folk art forms through my artworks at several art exhibitions in Poland and Bangladesh.
Some of these paintings which i have uploaded in here are from my previous exhibition in Poland and a few of them are for sale.

My first art exhibition in Poland occurred on the 18th of December 2020, entitled "The Tales of Bangladesh" from one of the national Polish cultural centers ‘Resursa Obywatelska Radom’ in Poland. I love working with folk art forms, Bangladeshi traditional folk motifs, and designs such as Gajir pot, Pot Chitra, Nokhsi Katha folk art forms.
On June 29th' 2021 my second virtual art exhibition entitled "The tales of Bangladesh-2" took place at the Institute of Cultural Sciences of UMCS. The deputy head of this institute Dr. Magdalena Grabias inaugurated the event, where I portrayed my country's folk culture, folk art forms once again.
And on the 27th of August 2021, the opening ceremony of my 3rd art exhibition entitled “Kobiety Bengalu” (in Polish), “Women of Bengal” (in English) took place at the Hotel Spichlerz in kazimierz Dolny, Poland. The exhibition was inaugurated by H. E. the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Poland, Mrs. Sultana Laila Hossain & 'The Deputy Head of The Institute of Cultural Sciences, UMCS, Dr. Magdalena Grabias.
