My name is Tamila Slabospytska, and I am from Ukraine. With a professional background in law, psychology, and the beauty industry, I have dedicated my creative journey to exploring the profound connection between visual art and emotional well-being. My mission is to use photography and traditional Petrykivka painting — an ancient Ukrainian decorative art form recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity — as powerful tools for art therapy.

🌿​For me, Petrykivka painting is more than decoration; it is about spiritual protection (Obereh) and cultural identity. Through my work, I preserve the historical memory of the Ukrainian people, offering a modern perspective on a tradition that UNESCO acknowledges for its universal value and message of peace. My professional background in psychology further enriches this process. As a certified art therapist, I perceive the rhythmic patterns of Petrykivka and the delicate details of nature as forms of visual meditation.

2025 – Advanced Course in Petrykivka Painting Technique and Composition under the mentorship of Master Yaroslava Tsymbalyuk. Mastery of complex color solutions and contemporary interpretations of traditional Ukrainian ornamentation.
