Tania Nitrini

1948, Alexandria-RN-Brazil.
My name is Tania Nitrini and I have lived in Sao Paulo since 1973.Torn between the arts and public health (Medicine), I decided to attend the Panamericana School of Arts and Design in 1999, where I graduated in 2001.Working in the arts was a dream that I only decided to embrace only later on. During my childhood and adolescence, I admired the handmade pieces from in Brazils northeast region: cloth dolls, earthenware, wooden saints and altars, and the like. This passion for colours lead me to painting. Ive always been fascinated by modern and contemporary paintings.

2-Nucleo de Arte Contempornea teachers:Antnio Peticov, an artist from Sao Paulo and Osmar Pinheiro (died in 2006), architect and artist from Para.
3-Oficina Virgilio: Osmar Pinheiro and Marco Giannotti, an artist from So Paulo.
4-Collegio das Artes: Marco Gianotti and Eurico Lopes, an artist from Sao Paulo.
