Tanya Tenditna

I work within the realm of figurative painting, focusing on the female figure as a vessel for inner states. I am drawn to silence, presence, tenderness, and a gentle strength — those subtle moments that often go unnoticed, yet shape the depth of human experience.

In my work, the female body is not an object of observation, but a space of sensation. Gestures, gazes, the placement of hands near the heart, and the symbolism of flowers and fruit become a quiet, intimate language of emotion, free of dramatization.

Working with oil and acrylic, I blend painterly softness with decorative elements and symbolic forms. Color in my practice carries emotional rather than realistic significance, cultivating a state of concentration and inner balance. My work exists at the intersection of contemporary figuration and symbolism, inviting the viewer into slow contemplation and a private inner dialogue.
