Lampros Tatsakis

Lambros Tatsakis was born in Greece at Radovizion Ioannina in 1955 and in 1962 he moved to Athens.

In 1973 he was introduced in Medical Science of Athens, where he completed his studies.

While dealing with the painting and the unfailing love for it, led him in 1985 at the Fine Arts workshop Maria Kazazis, which taught him painting and freehand drawing.

The work of the painter Lambros Tatsakis looks beyond impressionism, to the expressionism- with the furor and technique of freedom – and symbolism.

Indeed his professional capacity as a psychiatrist enables him through symbolisms to render Freud in ΄΄Ιt΄΄ and raise (with a harmonious color palette) passions and energy for life. (libido)

Essentially, having studied and practiced the skills within a source of talent, in his work he distills and summarizes the idea of the unconscious and it’s visual incarnation, leading to the expression of the quality and depth of emotion.
