Tauno Kangro

My artistic process is one of constant exploration and experimentation. I am interested in the interplay between natural and man-made forms, and often draw inspiration from the landscapes and architecture of my native Estonia. Through work, I seeks to create pieces that are both visually striking and intellectually engaging, challenging viewers to think about the ways in which we perceive and interact with the world around us.

I began to study art already in my school days, at Kalju Reitel’s Sculpture Studio.
In 1984, I graduated from Tallinn Secondary School No. 20 and
in 1993 from the Estonian National University of Art, majoring in sculpture.
