Woman as a Conduit
My artistic journey has undergone a profound transformation, mirroring the shifts within my own soul. I began my path with vibrant, multi-colored palettes, but after the birth of my second child, my vision cleared and narrowed into the powerful simplicity of monochrome. This transition was more than an aesthetic choice; it was a spiritual awakening.
Becoming a mother for the second time opened a portal to a deeper understanding of the world. I began to feel a delicate, almost crystalline connection with the Universe. I am now deeply convinced that a woman is a divine conduit — a bridge between the spiritual and the material, a vessel of life and energy.
This newfound clarity led me to embrace texture and relief. I no longer want to express myself through color alone; I need the physical presence of the medium. Through heavy impasto strokes and plaster elements, I create a tactile landscape that reflects my inner state.
My current works may appear restrained, even silent at first glance, but they contain a storm within. They represent the balance between outward serenity and the immense, swirling power of a woman’s spirit.
