Teena Zerefos

Teena Zerefos's work is inspired by her Greek Island Heritage which has played a big role in shaping her art. Teena was instinctively drawn to the deep majestic blues of the Aegean Sea and the vases and trinkets that adorn the tiny village in Greece that her family is from. "It feels like coming home holding a brush with a magnificent cobalt blue, and this collection ‘Mediterranean Abstract’ flowed through me like light onto the canvas".  

Teena studied at The University of NSW and the University of California Santa Barbara majoring in Art & Film Studies.
