Patrizia Tenisci

Patrizia Tenisci was born in Bresso, on 17 January 1960. Her parents were from Ortona, an Abruzzo small town overlooking the Adriatic Sea. She has never really lived in her parents' homeland, as her family moved to the North of the country before her birth. However, Ortona remains a point of reference where to return periodically and an ideal imaginary place.

In 1982 Patrizia enrolled at her first school of drawing: she attended the Augusto Colombo Art Center. In that school Patrizia learned the first rudiments of drawing with pencil, charcoal and sanguine from Mario Maré .
In 1999 she began her first experience with watercolor by attending the studio of the painter Adriano Jacchetti in Ispra. She made small paintings and won a prize with a landscape work.
In 2015 she attended an advanced course in drawing at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education (near Boston. Mass. USA) with Helena Hsieh.
Back in Italy, since 2016 she has enrolled at the advanced course in painting at the NABA (New Academy of Fine Arts) in Milan with Luciana Meazza,

In 2016 Patrizia participated to the Arte sul Naviglio event organized by the Naviglio Grande Association in Milan. In thr same year she participated to a group exhibition at SPAZIO E, also in the Navigli Area in Milan. Shortly after she made her first solo exhibition at Terzo Tempo in Milano.
In 2017 she participates once again to the Arte sul Naviglio event. Shortly thereafter she made her second solo exhibition at Villa Venino in Novate Milanese. She also took part to the ArtBox Project in Basel with a personal painting and two group works.
