“ Painting, for me, is something that happens naturally… Something that I can’t explain in words… something that “complains” to get out of me…
I love expressing myself abstractly… I write, tear, draw, paint, repaint and flow where my soul takes me, exploring my trait to my way of being and expressing...
I am inspired by something that touched me and, through colors and movements, I tell my stories, convey ideas, transmute emotions, feelings, experiences...
… with an intention to disconcerting everyday rationality, creating harmony, touching, promoting reflection...

I am from Coimbra, Portugal, from 1978.
Since my young age, I have had the desire to dedicate myself to Art – Painting. However, I graduated in Management.
Art has always been present in my subconscious and, over the years, it has become more and more a requirement of my being.
In 2014 I took the first step and started training in painting. For 4 years, I attended the painting course (2014-2018) at the Atelier Internacional de Belas Artes, with the artist Rui Carruço, where I learned various approaches and techniques. In 2018, I completed training in Living Model Drawing, at the art school - Ar.Co Centro de Arte & Comunicação Visual. And, in 2023, a workshop in Painting and Collage, with British artist Lewis Noble.
Over the years, I have been dedicating myself more and more to the art of Painting and, through trips and sabbaticals, exploring and discovering my style, emerging in my authenticity as an Artist.
