When life comes at us hard and we find ourselves in the midst of the fire, the burning desires within us can be silenced. Just as sand is beautifully transformed into glass under fire, we too, can be transformed, by hope.


As a contemporary glass artist, I create glass paintings to awaken emotions within us - emotions to lift our spirits, to bring hope and joy.

Painting with Glass.
I chose glass as my medium because of the color, brilliance, depth, reflection and refraction that can only be found in glass.

Native to Columbus, Ohio, I trained at the Columbus College of Art and Design, earning a BFA in graphic design. After finding inspiration in the ancient mosaics of Italy, I chose to further my education at the Miami Mosaic Academy in Florida. Here I embarked on a new creative direction, a style that was fresh and truly unique, one that would emulate my illustration style and give me the freedom to “paint with glass”.

The Process.
