I paint people when they seem to be doing very little. That is usually when the interesting part begins. A glance, a posture, or one strong colour can suggest that something has happened or is about to.

My background in fashion design still shapes the way I see form, the body, and colour. I work mainly in oil, keeping the composition clear and leaving the rest to the viewer.
