Teva Alina

Teva Alina is a self-taught artist born in Russia in 1996. She currently lives and works in Miami, Florida, USA.
Alina works primarily in oil painting, focusing on contemporary figurative art. In 2023, she received
The Best Artist award at Travel to Art World 2023. In 2026, Alina was invited to serve as a jury
member for Travel to Art 2026 in Miami.
She is currently working on her Transformation series, dedicated to the emotional states people
experience during periods of change in their lives.

Artist Statement
I worked with women for many years, and during that time I heard countless personal stories, taking
each one to heart. That is why I paint women most often — their emotions are more familiar and
understandable to me.
I don’t believe beauty and meaning have to compete. I want people to want to look at my work, but I
also want it to make them feel something. I am interested not so much in telling a person’s specific
story, but in showing their state of mind — doubt, inner struggle, fear, acceptance, or the moment
when something inside begins to change.
