I’m a self-taught abstract artist with a background in spatial design. My practice explores colour, form, movement and the emotional traces of lived experience. Working intuitively, I build paintings through layers, contrast and shifting relationships between shapes and colour.
Over time, painting has become the foundation of a wider visual language - one that extends beyond the canvas into print, textile objects and interior space through The Colour Nest.
I’m interested in how an artwork can change the way a space feels, and how abstraction can leave room for the viewer's own memories and associations.
2004 - 2005 - Training in decorative painting
Higher National Diploma in Spatial Design
Further practice developed across interior and spatial design before returning to painting through abstraction.
Since relocating to the UK in 2016, I have primarily shown my work online.
