Kerry Creech

My work through the last 10 years has been a deep study on technique and illustration. Many aspects of my work question perception and how that perception is influenced not only by our surroundings but also our experiences. I have found that this reveals itself in an interesting way through such exercises as “Shock Art“.

In a world surrounded by panopticons our perceptions can be distorted and influenced easily. The more I delve into this realm of perceptions I find that my own perception must be carefully and critically analyzed. I find that through this critical analysis the work that I produce is never a concrete set style but an subjective evolution of perception.
