In the 1980s I was a graffiti artist in North London. My focus in the late 80s changed from graffiti to contemporary dance. In 2005 nearing the end of my dance career I developed an oil and acrylic paintings style while based in Reykjavik. This style incorporated an essence of movement from the body blending with the application of paint to canvas. After numerous solo exhibitions in 2013 I return to London. Living in the heart of Notting Hill I question how is it possible to stay connected to my intuition with the continue external distractions. In 2014 I marry my 80s graffiti art with the 00s Icelandic influances to create a dance between urban and spirit.
