Although there is no afinity to zodiac signs for me, many characteristics of the shooter-born child can be assigned to me. So the expectations of third parties and the daily routine are a burden for me. Painting allows me to break out of my paths and start a new journey. Where is this journey going? The gods know that!

On my way as a painter, the journey to the ego accompanies me in the choice of the motif, a journey of questioning and self-knowledge. The idea for a motif arises first in my head – while driving, on a walk, reading the newspaper, looking at pictures, but mostly when falling asleep or waking up – followed by a confrontation with me and my past.

The realization phase starts mainly in digital form with the "Painter". Here helps me the great wealth of experience as a Webdesiger. So I can draw, paint, paint over, erase, copy and experiment with compositions without loss.

In the analogue implementation of my pictures is not the painting technique in the foreground. Rather, I must be able to express myself with the medium, it is simply a means to an end. I experiment with various materials such as ink, acrylic, wood, metal, paper, plastic, ceramics, plaster, concrete and more.
