Tiziano Marasco

Italian black canvas artist, born in 1985, living in Prague since 2010.

The night and the city. These are the true protagonists of Tiziano Marasco’s works, which invite to self reflection about the spaces we share in silent complicit agreement. In bright white streetlights is hidden the eye of the beholder, left alone to contemplate the black carpet and the painted colours of the urban landscape.

I started attending courses in a gallery close to my home town (Udine). Those courses were held by students of the Venice Academy and full time painters. This means I have an academic background, even if at a very rough level. I did normal painting, portrait, and body drawing. I attended courses from 2004 till I moved to Prague in 2011.
