I am an old romantic, a seeker of freedom, and a former aviator who spent thousands of hours suspended between heaven and earth. As a helicopter technician and crew member, I observed the world from heights where boundaries are merely a matter of light. Today, my helicopters have fallen silent, but my search for infinity continues at the edge of the forgotten ponds of my beloved Vrbina.

My work is a search for patterns in a frozen moment. When I lie by the edge of a pond, I do not see just ice; I see the same celestial expanses I once viewed from thousands of feet above. I jump from one pond to another, seeking that shock, that red-brown aureole of stardust that will knock me off my feet.

In my world, poppies meet wings, brushes meet rainbows, and bare feet meet the depths of the universe. My photography is a gratitude to life—for being, for existing, for crying, and for laughing. It is my way of whispering to everyone who watches: Take all of this with you. "I am an observer of the unseen.
