Tori Min (Adamova Tatyana) was born in 1977 in Nikopol, Ukraine. She didn't paint until 2022.

With the outbreak of war, she moved to Belgium, where she first picked up watercolor. This moment became not just the beginning of her creative journey, but a way to speak about her experiences—without words, through material.

Today, Tori Min works in a contemporary style, creating abstract works in which paper and watercolor become the language of memory, pain, and personal experience. She uses tears, burns, and deformations as visual traces of what has passed through a person. Paper allows one to live, watercolor allows one to let go.
Her practice explores themes of abandonment, displacement, motherhood, and emotional inheritance.

Through damaged paper surfaces, she investigates how trauma leaves physical and emotional traces on the body and memory
Recent works focus on the series The One Who Was Never Chosen, exploring the lifelong wound of not being chosen.

Currently I am studying at an art school in Belgium.

2024 in Waterloo, Belgium
2026: Group exhibition in Birmingham, UK
