I don’t paint the sea itself—I paint the feeling it leaves behind.

I’m a contemporary artist creating large-scale textural coastal paintings. Working from studios in Florida, Virginia, and Bavaria, i build each work by hand with acrylic, oil, structural paste, natural sand, shell fragments, and metallic accents.

Rather than depicting waves or horizons literally, my work explores what remains after the tide has gone out—the warmth held in the sand, the weathered texture of a shell, and the silence of a shoreline before anyone else arrives. Each painting invites a slower way of seeing, where subtle details reveal themselves over time.

Every work is created entirely by hand in my studio. No two pieces are ever exactly alike. Built through multiple layers of paint and sculptural materials, each painting develops its own unique presence, responding differently as natural light changes throughout the day.

Rather than being shaped by a single artistic tradition, my perspective has been formed by living across cultures and landscapes.

My academic background in Oriental Studies and European–Asian Management, together with years spent living in Beijing, Florida, Virginia, Northern Italy, and Germany, has deeply influenced the way I perceive light, texture, architecture, and space.

These experiences continue to shape every collection I create, where contemporary minimalism meets the quiet elegance of the natural world.
