Tristen Montesino

I am Tristen Montesino, also known as TRIZZY, though I’m happy with whichever name suits you. Growing up between New York and Pennsylvania and now calling Berlin home for the past six years, my journey as an artist has been anything but conventional. I was a professional ballet dancer until 2018, when a knee injury shifted my path, leading me to work in, leading me to explore creative roles in diverse industries.

When the pandemic stripped away those opportunities, I found myself at square one—a place where painting, a long-time quiet passion of mine, finally took center stage. What started as a way to pass time quickly became an essential outlet for my emotions and life experiences.

My work is raw, driven by feeling, and ever-changing, much like life itself. While color is the only element I plan in advance, everything else—textures, forms, and techniques—emerges from the moment. Each piece is an immersive journey, an emotional snapshot of what I’m living and processing at that time. Through my art, I invite you to explore the depths of vulnerability, spontaneity, and possibility that shape my creative world.
