ABOUT ME

Trujillo is a Spanish visual artist based in Pontevedra, Galicia. His practice moves between contemporary abstraction and figuration, exploring memory, movement, and the emotional landscape of human experience.

His artistic journey began with urban scenes, including classic cars along Havana’s waterfront, and evolved into figures moving through streets and cities. These explorations of place and human presence continue to inform his work.

Introspection now lies at the heart of his practice. Through layered color, glazing, and dripping, he transforms thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences into compositions that balance energy and calm, spontaneity and intention.

For Trujillo, each painting is a space for reflection: an invitation to pause, look closely, and find a personal connection beyond the visible.
