"I would like to paint like God".
That was Jackson Pollock's wish for himself. This is also my intention, free gestures leave their print, reminding us forms made of nature's elements.
The shamatic dance of the abstract expressionist artist and its result with colour and material on canvas, is the motive, the reason to explore formalistic elements, colour antithesis and supplementary colours which create a dynamical synthesis of extreme balance.
I do not consider my work as an optical movement recording, a consolidated action field, but as an energy field, a landscape made of internal and exrernal stimulation, merged, leaving a glance on something recognizable or strange, but simultaneously real.
The way i understand the obscure greek landscape, with worn walls, agonizing graffiti, torn pop posters covering each other, cracks in asphalt and the smeared pavement tiles, all refer to the mystical confrontation of the Dadaists and their effort for the release of lanquage suntax and grammar.
Accordingly, in my daily life, i see forms out of cheap materials and common images that function as a world within a world and can only be noticed through abstact mood and mystical dedication.
