Leslee Turnbull

I have been a professional designer, art director and scenic artist for the past 33 years, and currently serve as Senior Production Designer and animatronic figure art director for Walt Disney Imagineering. Projects include designing and creating paintings and murals for the Disneyland Dream Suite, DCA's Trattoria, Club 33 expansion, and 21 Royal Street dining room. Prior to being an Imagineer I was the principal artist painting the backdrops, sculptures and costumes for the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach, California for 14 years. I also worked as a scenic artist for theatre productions including The Elephant Man, A Midsummer NIght's Dream, A Little Night Music, Barnum, Cabaret, The Little Princess, Manet!, and A Christmas Carol for the Mark Taper Forum, the Ahmanson, South Coast Repertory, Barclay Civic Light Opera, and the Laguna Playhouse; film and television productions include Scream, Sphere, Wild Wild West, Ghostbusters II, CBS, Showtime, MTV, Nash Bridges, Screen Actors Guild Awards, American Music Awards, and the 69th, 70th and 71st Academy Awards.
