Uli Wu

Neo-expressionist working across painting, collage, and drawing through an intuitive and process-based approach, where the unconscious becomes not only a subject but also a method of image-making. Her practice explores how culture, mythology, and collective memory shape identity and the unconscious, particularly through the body as a site where personal and collective experience intersect. She is interested in questions of freedom, control, identity, and the point at which the self ends and the influence of cultural archetypes, social imagery, and collective projections begins.
