Un Jung Lee is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, performer, and designer currently based in New Jersey and New York. Her artistic practice delves into the intricate relationship between personal experience and deep introspection, while exploring the intersection of individual identity and collective consciousness within social and cultural contexts. Lee employs a wide range of mediums including painting, drawing, text, installation, video, and multimedia to articulate her exploration of these themes.
Lee's artistic talent and unique perspective have garnered international recognition. In 2000, she was invited to participate in two significant exhibitions: the special exhibition of the Gwangju Biennale and SIPAF 2000. These opportunities further fueled her passion and artistic development, ultimately leading her to relocate to the United States to pursue her career.
