Currently, James works on projects for clients, continues to build his portfolio, and working; one as a freelance artist, the other being a Senior Graphics & Engraving Director. James seeks to have his goals met by using openness to critiques, an easygoing and personable nature, and a high ambition to succeed.

His major influences over time have been from movements worldwide in the Renaissance, Gothic, Medieval, Bauhaus, Latin, & especially Asian arts; designs; and architecture. From visual fine art studies of da Vinci to Frank Stella & Andy Warhol; architect studies of Frank Lloyd Wright, Walter Gropius, Toyo Ito, & I.M. Pei; and graphic design studies of Neville Brody, Alexey Brodovitch, & Paul Rand. James enjoys Anime & Japanese cultures as well.

James sees Graphic Design as a means for producing end products which give the world a new perspective of illustration and communication. It allows fun and creativity, and total freedom of mind, which makes the artist even more driven. Also possessing strong listening, writing, and communication skills, which is essential in the field to ensure the end product meets above the expectations of all clients.

At an early age, James became interested with arts and media without fully knowing where to begin in such a vast technological advanced generation. During general schooling and educational studies, he began taking traditional fine arts classes to learn background on everyday artistry, home economics, to music and band classes. Throughout High School, he became more proficient with converting to digital and Adobe products, mainly with Photoshop 7.0 and Adobe Reader and post High School Graduation, he took time to find experience in work with cooking, baking, mechanical and technical studies, automotive, customer service experience, upper management, restaurant business, and project management, and different means to further convert artwork into print and industry production.

Within experience gained, James has also graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online and Art Institute of Washington to become a Fine Arts Graphic and Web Design major, fulfilling dreams of a career where abundant creativity and opportunities are abound, specializing in freelancing.
