Lynda Angelis

I am a full-time painter living in Minneapolis. I work in a large studio in my home. My art is based on "street art" and inspired by urban landscape...buildings, bridges, walls, concrete. I use acrylic paint mainly. But my work is multilayered with oilstick, crayon, graphite, paper and crayons. I paint spontaneously with no plan. I loosely use the quote by Robert Motherwell "In the brush doing what it's doing it will stumble on what one couldn't do by oneself"
