Urve Tonnus

Urve Tõnnus is an Estonian painter and graphic artist whose work blends emotional clarity with a refined sense of atmosphere. Rooted in intuition, memory and quiet observation, her paintings explore feminine presence, historical archetypes and the subtle relationship between humans and nature.
Her work has been shown internationally across Europe, Asia and the United States, and she has received several art awards recognizing her distinctive visual language. Inspired by travel and personal reflection, Urve creates atmospheric compositions that invite viewers into a contemplative, introspective space.
For her, painting is a way of understanding the world — a practice of awareness, sensitivity and inner balance.
