Valentina Ritorova

My name is Valentina Ritorova, I live in Latvia. I paint with oil and acrylic, sometimes using texture paste.
I like to paint abstracts and landscapes, sometimes flowers and seascapes. I really like bright colors that give strength and energy, inspire and a good mood. Abstraction gives the opportunity to think broadly on certain topics and embody ideas in painting metaphors, and colors add ex-pressiveness.
I create paintings, especially abstraction, expressing my emotions, my world in them. The viewer continues to co-create it, creating their own worlds. In abstraction, the viewer is my co-author.

I completed Course: painting basics (2019), 8 courses texture painting (2023-2025), Courses "Basics of interior abstraction" and "Experimental abstraction" (2024-2025)

I participated in 21 exhibitions. One painting took 2nd place, another painting took 2nd place in four exhibitions.
