Olga Mosina was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1958.
When I paint, Im trying to discover the deeper meaning within any subject, the multiple facets to all things.
This is the ultimate goal of my art: to elicit an emotional response by revealing these co-existing layers of meaning in every subject.
My work is neither fully abstract nor realistic. One can usually discern the subject of the painting, yet it has been de-constructed to reveal its essential geometry.
I think that my most recent style might best be termed Analytical Cubism.
She graduated summa cum laude from Moscows prestigious Stroganovskaya Commercial Art Institute in 1990, and was awarded a Masters Degree in Commercial Art and in Interior Architectural Design.,
