My name is Varvara.
I seek to explore the depths of human psychology through my paintings, using art as a means of self-expression and understanding.
My sensitivity to the world around me — and to the people I depict — is filtered through internal emotional experience. This allows me to create paintings that reflect complex states of the soul, both my own and those of my subjects.
In my oil technique, I combine thick, expressive strokes with transparent, delicate layers. This contrast becomes a powerful emotional tool that brings each story to life.
For me, painting is an open dialogue with the viewer. Through it, I invite others to feel, remember, and reflect — to touch those subtle inner strings and immerse themselves in a nostalgic kaleidoscope of emotion.
