COINCIDENCE, THE BEAUTY OF STRANGENESS AND THE PROCESS OF TRANSFORMATION THROUGH CHANCE OCCURRENCES

My work inhabits a liminal space between representation and abstraction, shaped by an intuitive, organic process. Each composition unfolds through distortion, layering, and reconstruction—reflecting nature’s unpredictable, ephemeral tendencies. Translucent veils, shifting textures, and fractured imagery evoke moments of transition, where memory and form dissolve into new relationships.

Inspired by the Vanitas tradition, these collages engage in the tension between decay and regeneration, capturing fleeting beauty in transformation and the passage of time.

Post-grad participation in exhibitions included: London Art Fair, Flowers Gallery London, Post Grad Art Biennale Antwerp, Mall Galleries London, Royal College of Art London, Christies London, Fusion Gallery London, ICA/Institute of Contemporary Art London. Followed by five years of studio-based independent art practice (Nottingham/London) & later working within the arts in central London before moving to Barcelona in 2001. Since then, moves to Madrid, Rome, Paris & Berlin preceded a return to Barcelona in 2019.
