I am a Fine Artist living in Lancashire, England. I hold a degree in Fine Art specialising in Painting.

Drawing influence from 17th and 18th century Japanese woodblock printing, my work starts with pen and ink which is then layered with paints and often pastels. Gold leaf is applied to a sky back ground - its application is purposely broken allowing the blue sky to break through the warmth of the golden Sun.

My intention of this range is not to replicate the intricate detail of the natural world. But rather, to capture their essence.
