Artist statement: Anna Jaros is the author of photography, paintings, films and interactive projects. She gained renown for "Into the City", 1994, an important work of Polish critical art. In 1991Anna Jaros received a Master's Degree in Painting from Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland. In 1996 "Game", an interactive installation was exhibited in Zderzak Gallery in Krakow, Poland. In 1998 "Into the City", a video-art was exhibited in The Bunkier Sztuki Contemporary Art Gallery, Krakow, Poland. In 2000 "Game" - an interactive computer installation was exhibited by "Zderzak Gallery: Young Art from Cracow", Museum Junge Kunst, Frankfurt (Oder), Germany. In 2010 "Into the City"was exhibited at Videospritz, ‘TRANSITLAND Video Art from Central and Eastern Europe 1989 – 2009’ review was presented in auditorium Museo Revoltella by Trieste Contemporanea Committee, Trieste, Italy. In 2011 "Into the City" was exhibited at International Short Film Festival, Oberhausen, Germany and at
"The Power of Fantasy - Modern and Contemporary Art from Poland", BOZAR, Brussels, Belgium.
