Vesna Kolobarić

Vesna Kolobarić is a prominent multidisciplinary visual artist who designs contemporary jewelry, unique textiles and fashion, and 2D and 3D artworks. She graduated in textile and fashion design from the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Her works have been widely presented in solo and group exhibitions in a prestigious network of galleries, museums, and fashion shows around the world, including Croatia, Slovenia, Israel, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Spain, and the USA. In addition to her studio practice, she has collaborated with the Croatian National Theater in Osijek, organized cultural projects in Đakovo, the city where she lives and works, and has received numerous awards and recognitions for her artistic achievements in Croatia. Through her diverse creative cycles, Kolobarić explores how psychosocial, economic, and ecological changes shape the visual identity of certain periods. She is deeply fascinated by how technological and scientific advances affect the behavior and application of materials in contemporary art.
