Víctor Candela is a contemporary artist whose work transcends traditional representation to delve into what critics define as "oneiric figuration." His painting does not seek a photographic replica; instead, it constructs immersive atmospheres where stillness and silence invite the viewer into a state of sensory fulfillment.
With a solid career including solo exhibitions at the prestigious Galería Ansorena (Madrid), Pia Almoina (Barcelona), and the Elche City Council, Candela has established a personal and recognizable artistic language. His iconic universe draws from the Western gaze toward Orientalist exoticism, reinterpreting scenes from North Africa, the Nile, and Saharan oases through a unique Mediterranean lens.
