Victoria Johns

Victoria was born and raised in the Midwest and now considers herself a California artist. A Californian since 2007, she is an innovative emerging west coast artist and has exhibited at art festivals and galleries in southern California. She is largely self-taught; however, her years of experience have been through workshops, college courses, studio experience and personal study.

Victoria's love for color and canvas began 20 years ago when she attended a plein air watercolor class in 1995. She was immediately captivated when she began to mix colors. She then realized how much she has missed her love for art, since her childhood. The class resulted in her creativity blossoming in many areas of the arts. She studied saxophone for seven years and piano for three. She spent a lot of time in her home learning many styles of decorative wall painting. She has explored many areas of the arts such as; oil, watercolor and acrylic, graphic design, photography, jewelry craft and music. She is always trying new styles and techniques, so she can learn and grow as an artist.
