Photographer born and raised in Perth, Australia, lived in Bucharest, Cairo and Istanbul as a teenager, and currently based in Belgrade, Serbia since 2011.
With an approach that falls somewhere between documentary and art photography, I use the camera as a tool to create lasting visual mementos. My work strives to capture the energy and atmosphere of this particular moment in history that we’re living through and experiencing. My aim in doing so is to be able to share both the stories of those around me and my own story in a way that captures the essence of the subject. Other times, I aim to create a visual representation of a feeling, essentially eternalizing the experience in a way that can also be conveyed to others.
I take photographs using both digital and analog equipment, but I have a particular affinity for analog cameras and experimenting with different film formats and the developing process.
